meriko is a technical design director, photographer, and troublemaker. She works and plays with studios, researchers, and creatives who push the boundaries of technology in the service of art and community.
meriko spent 22 years at Apple inventing the media, gaming, and ML technologies that are at the heart many of our tools and art today. She was a founding member of the iPhone team, and was responsible for building the iPhone cameras – changing photography and videography across the globe.
Today, meriko works with ScanLAB Projects, Sense Medical, and Qxr Studios. She works with the Audience of the Future consortium, and was delighted to serve in the Advisory Group for the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Dream in 2021.
