James Wong

James graduated in Marketing Communications and worked for Disney Channel and Turner Broadcasting in London. After a sabbatical backpacking through Asia and Australia, James became a travel writer for Singapore Airlines. Following that, he spent four years reporting for VOGUE, whilst living in Japan, the UK, and North America. Today he is based in Austin, serving as Texas correspondent for both Time Out and Thrillist, and contributing travel to a variety of domestic publications. He spent a month traveling Costa Rica in 2021.
