Bernice Chao
I'm am the head of integrated creative at Zambezi, author, speaker, professor, mentor, TEDx host, and co-founder of Asians in Advertising. I believe in the power of using creativity for good. Whether that's giving the brands, I work on a real purpose to connect with their audience or pay it forward to my community.
I believe strongly in helping others in the advertising community in ways that I wished I had, therefore I dedicate time to mentoring emerging talent in groups such as MAIP, Women Who Create, ThinkLA, etc, and teach at LMU. I also co-founded an organization called Asians in Advertising with 900+ worldwide community members focused on helping level up careers, spotlighting industry talent, and networking. I have contributed to two books “Advertising By Design 4th Edition” and "Branding Quickies."
I've worked for a broad array of clients, including Google, Nissan, Doritos, HBO, and Sony Playstation. I've also worked in a variety of mediums from Super Bowl commercials to TikTok campaigns.
