James Russell

James Russell is the Assistant Director of the Design-Build Institute of America-Southwest Division. He has worked in and covered the Texas Legislature for Quorum Report, a subscriber service and newsletter about state politics and is an editor at three award-winning magazines.

He also is a freelance writer covering art, architecture, politics, urban affairs, and occasionally Star Trek for publications including Arts and Culture Texas, D Magazine, The Appeal, CityLab, Huffington Post, Next City, Jewish News Syndicate, Texas Observer, and Star Trek Magazine.
