Elizabeth Lindsey
Elizabeth Lindsey joined Wasserman in 2007 and currently serves as President, overseeing all of Wasserman’s brands and properties business globally including the agency’s wholly owned subsidiaries: creative and digital agency Laundry Service, production and influencer marketing company Cycle and next generation marketing company Riddle & Bloom. She is responsible for leading the team of more than 750 professionals around the globe who develop, negotiate and creatively activate and measure partnerships, events and campaigns on behalf of all brand clients and leading sports and entertainment properties.
During Lindsey’s tenure at Wasserman, she has overseen massive growth within the Marketing division which has exploded in size, expanding both geographically and into new service offerings including strategic consulting, property consulting, creative campaign development, experiential marketing and hospitality, and a deep global insights practice. The team currently services over 250 clients annually including iconic brands such as American Express, AT&T, Microsoft, NFL and UEFA, among many others.
In addition to her role overseeing the Marketing group, Lindsey is also instrumental in the direction of Wasserman’s corporate strategy, helping guide the agency’s strategic decision-making including acquisition and international expansion initiatives and serves as a senior advisor to Casey Wasserman on matters regarding the company’s strategic growth. Lindsey also serves as the senior leader overseeing The Collective – Wasserman’s platform focused on raising the profile of and opportunities for women in sports, a passion area of Lindsey’s.
Lindsey previously served as Managing Partner of Wasserman’s Brands and Properties division and, before that role, she was Senior Vice President of the Raleigh, North Carolina-based sports and entertainment consulting firm OnSport, which was acquired in 2007 by Wasserman. In advance of her tenure with OnSport, she managed sports and entertainment relationships for Canada-based telecom firm Nortel for over 10 years.
She was honored by Adweek as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Sports” and by SportsBusiness Journal in its annual “Forty Under 40” list. She was also recognized as a 2020 “Woman of the Year” for WISE – Women in Sports and Events.
Lindsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in mass communication from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She currently resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her family and serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish of North Carolina.
