Matt “BK” Augustin, Director of Brand & Creative Strategy, is an integral part of the Brand Partnerships & Business Development team at FaZe Clan, the lifestyle & media platform rooted in gaming and youth culture. He pitches ideas to current partners and seeks out new biz opportunities while also oversees brand and creative strategy for all brand sponsors, copywriting, project & brand management. Prior to FaZe, BK worked at DigitasLBi, FCB Chicago, Fitzco/McCann and 72andSunny. He worked with brands like Miller Lite, Coca Cola, The NFL, Adidas, Under Armour, Activision, Blizzard, Tinder & more. No stranger to adversity, BK is dedicated to shining a light on the importance of DE&I. He is an active member of FaZe’s Diversity Council, co-founded Advertising for Change, founded and served as the Global Lead of the McCann World Group Global Diversity Council, is a Board Member for The Side Show, and is involved in Monday Night Collective, as well as the Marcus Graham Project (MGP).
