Wendy Dio
Wendy Dio is the President and Owner of Niji Management, Inc., which she established over 30 years ago.
In addition to her experience in personal management, Wendy has been involved in the production and creative design of album covers, music videos, concert videos and stage sets. She has received awards from both "Performance" and "Pollstar" magazines for stage set design and concert video production, not to mention numerous Gold and Platinum album awards and executive producer credits. One of the original founders of Los Angeles Women in Music and the motivating force behind the "Hear N Aid" charity project which raised over three million dollars, Wendy remains active in charitable fundraising and is a well-respected authority at music industry seminars and conventions. From 1995-2010, she was Chairman of the Board for Children of the Night, an organization dedicated to helping runaway children and teens.
In 2010, Wendy started her own record label, Niji Entertainment Group, Inc. and to date has released fourteen albums, two of which made the Billboard charts. She is President and Co-Founder of the RJD SUAS which she founded in 2010, the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, which to date has raised over 2,000,000 towards cancer research, education, and early detection screenings. Wendy is also actively involved in promoting awareness and raising money for various animal charities, including the Brittany Foundation.
Wendy is "Ways of Means" Vice President of Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge - Los Angeles Chapter. Freedoms Foundation is a non-profit, non partisan, non-sectarian educational organization founded in 1949, known for its awards programs honoring Americans from all walks of life.
Wendy received a Grammy in 2014 for Executive Producer in the category Best Metal Performance by Tenacious D for "Last in Line".
Wendy Co-Authored the Book "Rainbow in the Dark" which was released in July 2021 which reached #12 in the US best seller list and was included in Variety Best Music Books of 2021.
