Fang Fang
Fang Fang is the CEO & President of the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, coming from a diverse background and extensive experience in journalism, government, and the startup world. Most recently, she was a liaison of the U.S. Department of Commerce and Austin-Travis Complete Count Committee, a collaborative effort to ensure a complete and accurate count of the Austin-area population in the 2020 decennial Census. Prior to that, Fang Fang co-founded the e-commerce startup Big Plan Inc, a tech startup in supply chain optimization. Fang Fang also worked at marketing and public relations consulting firm Edelman in New York City; and news agency Voice of America in Washington, DC as well as China Central Television in Beijing, China. Fang Fang dedicates her time working on economic development, international engagement, and elevating AAPI communities both locally and nationally. She serves on the City of Austin Asian American Quality of Life Commission as well as on the board of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Visit Austin, Community Advancement Network (CAN), National Asian American PAC (NAAPAC), Network of Asian American Organizations (NAAO), and Strategic Advisory Council of Impact Austin. Fang Fang holds a Master's degree from Baylor University in International Journalism. She is an avid world traveler and amateur salsa dancer.
