A 35-year digital and content visionary, Deanna Brown is recognized for delivering extraordinary growth and innovation for some of the world's most influential brands, including Yahoo, AOL, and Conde Nast. As a driven culture architect, she builds proactive, dynamic teams necessary to respond to business changes and opportunities.
Deanna recently joined Penske Media to launch a new venture fund and lab based in Austin, TX. Prior to this post, she served as Managing Director of MRC Media, modernizing the iconic brands Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. Some of her professional accomplishments include increasing efficiency by 47% and gross margin by 10% as SVP of GuideSpark, doubling company revenue from $37M to $89M as the CEO and Board Member at Federated Media LLC, leading the charge on bringing Scripps into the digital space as President of Scripps Networks Digital, and co-founding CondeNet, the digital division of Conde-Nast.
She’s been featured as one of the Top Women in Media by Folio Magazine, Ad Age's Women to Watch, and an Exceptional Woman in Publishing by Exceptional Women in Publishing.
Deanna currently splits her time between Austin and Los Angeles, always finding time to explore the great outdoors with her pit rescue, Hariet.
