Allison Rose Carter has produced over 20 feature films. She got her start on Eyad Zahra’s The Taqwacores, which had its premiere at the inaugural NEXT category at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.

Since then, Allison has worked with dozens of talented new voices and established filmmakers such as Ira Sach’s Love is Strange, Andrea Arnold’s American Honey (winner of the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival 2016), Oren Moverman’s The Dinner, Demetri Martin’s Dean, Josephine Decker’s Madeline’s Madeline and Shirley, Kent Jones’ Diane (winner US Narrative Screenplay and Narrative Feature at 2018’s Tribeca Film Festival), Rick Alverson’s The Mountain, John Lee’s False Positive, and Janicza Bravos’s Zola.

Allison serves in the Dean’s Council at her alum, Florida State University, and has participated in the Trans-Atlantic Partnership, NYFF Artist Academy, IFP Film Week and the Sundance Creative Producing Lab.

Her upcoming feature films include, Josephine Decker’s The Sky is Everywhere, Billy Porter’s What If, and Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All At Once. She works all over the world, but resides in Brooklyn, NY.
