Casey Schwab

As CEO of leading-edge NIL advisory and education firm Altius Sports Partners, Casey is responsible for the oversight of the company and leads all partnerships, business development and operational strategy. Altius, an official partner of leading collegiate athletic departments and sports properties, provides strategic solutions on topics ranging from NIL to the shifting landscape of employment and media rights within college athletics.

Prior to founding Altius, Casey was VP of business & legal affairs at the NFLPA, helping lead the commercial NIL program and negotiating the NFL commercial agreement on behalf of all players. He began his career in sports media at NFL Media and FOX Sports working on talent deals and media rights.

A native of rural Wisconsin, Casey is a Wisconsin undergrad and USC JD. He has taught at both USC and Howard law schools, is a recipient of Sports Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award in 2021 and is a frequent speaker on the future of collegiate sports.
