Christopher Robert Cargill

Screenwriter, novelist, producer, and co-founder of production company Crooked Highway (along with writing partner Scott Derrickson) C. Robert Cargill has been a part of the Austin film scene for over 20 years. First starting as a film critic at such sites as Ain't it Cool News and Spill.com, he left criticism behind to co-write such films Sinister, Doctor Strange, and The Black Phone, and pen such novels as Day Zero and the Arthur C. Clarke Award nominated Sea of Rust. He lives and works in Austin.
