Bec Adams
Bec Adams grew up in Australia, influenced by the freedom of nature and an unfettered night sky; she gravitated toward the yang, the city that never sleeps, New York City. Her musical sensibilities are intelligent and wide, shaped by her pianist Mother, record-collecting father and the natural curiosity that defines her.
From her upbringings, Bec was taught about the importance of music to ones subconscious, and hence always believed in the intense power that music played in her life. She pursued a career within the industry, as a music licensing lawyer by day, and DJ by night.
From her years, Bec saw a need for brands and people alike, to start using music as a tool to express themselves, and market their image. From this basis, Bec founded Les Filles, rooted on this fundamental notion of helping people enrich their lives via musical experiences, and to push females to make a more impactful scene within the industry.
With a background in Law, Bec is a rare example of cognitive ability and creative excellence. Bec’s commitment to the music industry has seen her working behind the scenes as a music supervision, and music licensing lawyer.
Her illustrious career has seen her work with the likes of Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi, The CFDA, Vogue, BFA, Alber Elbaz, YSL, The Whitney Museum, Full Moon Festival, VICE, Elle Magazine, Tory Burch, Theory, Helmut Lang, Victoria’s Secret, The Guggenheim Museum, Hermes, Roc Nation, MILK, Flaunt Magazine, W Magazine, and Refinery 29, to name a few. She has played at internationally renowned venues, such as Silencio and Les Baines in Paris, Belle Reve in Cannes, After All in London, with regular parties at Ian Schragers Public Hotel, Paul’s Casablanca, The Boom Boom Room, Chateau Marmont, and more.
