Rebeca Ibarra

Rebeca was born and raised in Mexico City. Before joining Insider she was a host, reporter, and producer for WNYC, New York’s public radio station. There, she launched and hosted WNYC’s Consider This; guest hosted for shows like The Takeaway and The Brian Lehrer Show; and co-wrote and produced the critically acclaimed podcast Scattered. Before becoming a journalist, Rebeca acted in experimental New York theater. She now lives in Austin, TX.
