Andrea Aniceto
Andrea Aniceto-Chavez grew up in Los Angeles, California and attended New York University where she double majored in Film & TV, and Business. In 2018, Andrea became a Producer and game engine artist at Cinecode, the Virtual Production arm of DigitalFilm Tree. She helps filmmakers, musicians, and everyday storytellers tell their stories from pre-visualization to final visualization by leveraging game engine technology in both Desktop and Virtual Reality (VR).
Her latest innovation has been producing StoryKit which is a tool used inside the game engine that has helped productions save money, time, and carbon footprint by being able to create their stories in 2D, 3D, and photoreal 3D. Andrea has previsualized episodes for TV shows some of which are Umbrella Academy, Ted Lasso, NCIS:LA, Dave, and more. She collaborates with a variety of different departments whether it’s working directly with the showrunner, director, or cinematographer to create compelling cinematic shots, block out a scene, production design, working with stunt performers, and planning for VFX.
Andrea’s strong focus in storytelling, animation, VFX, and spending an endless amount of time both playing and making video games has compelled her to create an educational platform that will bridge that gap between Virtual Production and many other industries. Andrea is pioneering the way to make Virtual Production accessible to everyone because she believes people should have a platform that is easy to use to tell their stories.
