Jessie T. Usher
Jessie T. Usher Jr. stars as A-Train in the hit Amazon Original series The Boys. Usher Jr. is an American actor and aspires to be a producer, director, and writer. He started his career in Washington D.C. at the age of six in such Broadway musicals as “Street Scene” and the more complex, “Richard III.” Usher Jr.’s off-stage acting career began 2005 with a co-star TV role on Without A Trace. He began landing other roles on popular TV shows such as Hannah Montana, Lincoln Heights, Numb3rs, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds and Summer Camp. His first TV series role came in the role of Lyle Hugginson on Cartoon Network’s Level Up, which he later reprised in the 2011 Level Up film. In 2014, he starred as Cam Calloway on the Starz hit show, Survivor’s Remorse. Usher Jr. has also landed multiple voiceover roles, such as G.I. Joe: Renegades, Teenage, Seal Team and more. In 2010, he starred in Beautiful Boy as a young basketball star. He then starred in Inappropriate Comedy (2013) and When the Game Stands Tall (2014). In 2016, Usher Jr. starred in Independence Day: Resurgence and Almost Christmas. In 2018, Usher Jr. starred in and executive produced Ride as James and starred in and produced Stronghold. In 2018, Usher Jr. also wrote and produced A Father’s Love. In 2019, Usher Jr. starred in Shaft as John ‘JJ’ Shaft Jr. His most recent films are 2020’s The Banker on Apple TV+ and Netflix’s Dangerous Lies.
