Katy Drake Bettner

Katy Drake Bettner currently splits her time between creative producing independent films and spearheading strategy and business development for a new game IP. She is art form agnostic and has produced games, music, start-ups, and film, both narrative and documentary. Katy serves on the board of Austin Film Society, is a member of the Women at Sundance Leadership Council, has served as an advisor for the Sundance Creative Producing Lab and Summit and has advised for the Women in Film/Sundance financing strategy summit as well as the Documentary Producers Alliance.

Current projects include Sundance, Gotham and and Outfest lab supported CAITY, (written and directed by Lindsay Calleran, producing alongside Sundance Creative a producing Fellow Katie White), Ed McCulloch’s LITTLE HOLLYWOOD, 2022 SXSW documentary SHOUTING DOWN MIDNIGHT, and a new initiative for funding creative work in Texas in partnership with Austin Film Society.
