As Chief Technology Officer at Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and BMO Stadium, Christian has shaped the organization’s overarching technical vision and strategy. His primary area of focus is the use of technology to enhance the guest experience, eliminate friction and provide additive experiences for customers. Lau has successfully positioned the Club as one of the most innovative, tech-forward sports organizations and venues in the U.S. Lau’s strategic approach has attracted tech partnerships that have allowed the stadium to test and host first-of-its-kind technologies including biometrics for age verification, NFC ticketing and autonomous retail technology, that have helped bring conceptual ideas to market, and have proven to deliver a next-generation guest experience.
