Christina Dent

Christina Dent President and CEO, End it for Good: Christina Dent is the Founder & President of
End It For Good, a nonprofit based in Mississippi that invites people to support approaches to

drugs that prioritize life and the opportunity to thrive. She supported a criminal justice
approach to drugs until experiences as a foster parent led her on a multi-year journey to
understand which policies could reduce crime, overdose, and unnecessary incarceration. She
changed her mind in favor of legal regulation after becoming convinced it led to outcomes that
better aligned with her conservative Christian values. Christina presented the research and
experiences that changed her mind as a TEDx Talk and went on to found End It For Good. To
date she has led 26 End It For Good educational events across Mississippi culminating in
their SHIFT: From Drug War to Drug Health summit in November 2021 with 250 attendees.
Christina is a frequent speaker at community events, conferences, and universities. She was
born and raised in Mississippi and continues to make her home there with her husband and
three sons. Her passion for ending a criminal justice approach to drugs stems from the same
passion that led her to foster care. She desires to see children, families, and communities
thrive.
