Gretchen Newcomb

Leveraging 30+ years of experience in the transportation technology space, Gretchen Newcomb’s career has focused on facilitating productive relationships among stakeholders in transportation, technology, research, policy and media because she believes the environmental and societal benefits of smart, sustainable mobility are immense. She is the Director of Partnerships at MobilityData, providing journey planning data to data producers and consumers of public transit and shared mobility worldwide. In her role, she facilitates partnerships and fundraising for the public and private sectors as well as stakeholders who rely on the data for analysis and planning. She represents the organization at conferences, webinars, and workshops to amplify MobilityData's mission to enhance the traveler experience through open source, high quality data. She is an avid tennis player, world traveler, a nascent opera fan, and passionate advocate for alternative education.
