Jenny Leonard

Jenny Leonard is a White House reporter for Bloomberg News, where she focuses on international economic issues. She started her career in Washington in 2016 at industry publication Inside U.S. Trade where she broke news on the Trump administration’s negotiations with Mexico and Canada. In 2018, she moved to Bloomberg and focused on the China trade war.

A German native, she got her bachelor’s degree from Humboldt University in Berlin, attended Duke University and got her master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School.
