Jason Zuniga

Jason Zuniga is a Major in the United States Army serving as the Co-Director of the Army’s first Soldier-led Software Factory in Austin, TX. He is a recognized leader serving with distinction as an aviation officer on the front lines of Iraq and as part of the first rotational forces to Korea. Jason most recently stood up the Army’s first venture capital (VC) Training with Industry (TWI) fellowship at Founders Fund in San Francisco. He also served at the Pentagon as a senior program analyst and instructor for the “How the Army Runs” course. Jason’s academic record includes receiving his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy and MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also worked with several start-up companies and served as a non-profit board fellow. He resides in Austin with his wife Gabrielle, an Air Force Officer and ROTC Instructor, and their Siberian husky where they enjoy outdoor activities and volunteer service opportun
