I’m the Senior Director of sync licensing for TV, film and entertainment marketing at APM Music, a joint venture between Universal Music Publishing and Sony Music Publishing. I help music supervisors, filmmakers, studios, distributors, production companies, editors and producers find/license/create music for their productions. Prior to starting my career in sync in 2008, I worked as a composer for Saturday morning cartoons, music supervised commercials, and was a trial attorney in NY. I got my start in music in 2002 as a producer and engineer collaborating with MF DOOM and Prince Paul on Paul Barman’s “Paullelujah” LP. I’ve been mining library records for samples since I was a teenager and also head up APM’s sample licensing.
