Inspired to improve patient outcomes while accelerating business goals, Mr. Nicholas has led IT organizations in the healthcare industry for over two decades. As CIO for Fortune 100, PE-backed, and consulting firms, he has conceived and launched award-winning IT products, designed IT strategies resulting in exponential revenue growth and patient satisfaction, led multiple M&A integrations and turnarounds, and implemented technology solutions to stabilize, secure, and optimize operations.

Information Systems Strategy. At Eating Recovery Center, developed a three-year digital transformation strategy with Azure architecture and enterprise-wide technology roadmaps including infrastructure, business applications, and digital platforms. Drove a technology transformation that enabled EBITDA growth of 34%. Led the acquisition and integration of 60+ healthcare locations during career, including 36 at Senior Care Centers.
Digital Transformation. Trimmed $700K from the operating budget and reinvested the savings in digital transformation. Used Azure Data Warehouse and Microsoft Power BI to improve decision-making at all levels of management. Led the implementation of Sigmund Aura EMR to 31 hospitals; standardized processes and increased productivity across clinical and operations teams by 27%. Oversaw the construction and launch of vitalsBI™, a Sisense-based, award-winning data analytics and visualization product.
Strategic Implementation. Spearheaded the implementation of Frameworks LTC pharmacy management system; reduced drug costs by 24% YoY. Conceived strategy and oversaw deployment of Salesforce Health and Service Cloud to a 150-agent call center, resulting in 33% top-of-the-funnel growth. Increased clinical productivity by 35%.
Currently, Gregory leads the Global Healthcare Provider Practice for Tata Consulting Services (“TCS”), a $200B global IT services provider, where he advises senior leaders from the world's largest healthcare organizations on tech-enabled patient care innovation and solutions. He is a long-standing member of HIMSS and a CIO Executive Forum contributor.
