Aleatha Parker-Wood
Dr. Aleatha Parker-Wood is a principal privacy engineer for AWS, where she works on the development and deployment of privacy technologies. Prior to AWS, she was a principal privacy engineer for Amazon Devices, the group behind Fire TV, Halo, and Echo, among other innovative devices, where she worked to ensure the latest privacy technologies were deployed to protect customers and their data, as well as ensuring thoughtful privacy decisions were built into all products, features and services.
Prior to Amazon, Dr. Parker-Wood led machine learning and algorithmic privacy for Humu. She also served as a senior principal research engineer and manager at NortonLifeLock (formerly “Symantec”), where she created and deployed advanced machine learning systems for the firm’s security products.
