Lewis Koski

Lewis Koski has experience on both the public and private side of cannabis regulation. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer for Metrc, the leading provider of track-and-trace software for U.S. cannabis markets. Prior to joining Metrc, he served as the Deputy Senior Director of the Colorado Department of Revenue's Enforcement Business Group, directing state policy surrounding regulated markets and its enforcement. Lewis also served as the Director of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division, where he helped build the first state agency in the U.S. to develop and implement medical and adult-use cannabis policy. His experience as a police officer and member of the Colorado Army National Guard also give him unique insight into the role and responsibility of law enforcement in the cannabis industry. In all of these roles, Lewis helped to safeguard the needs and concerns of businesses operating in the state, while strengthening the regulated market.
