Amanda Siebert
Amanda Siebert is an author and freelance multimedia journalist focusing on the intersections of business and culture in psychedelics and cannabis. She is a regular contributor to Forbes and a senior writer and host at The Dales Report, as well as a co-founder and editor at Inside the Jar. Her first book, “The Little Book of Cannabis: How Marijuana Can Improve Your Life”, was published by Greystone Books in 2018 on the same day cannabis was legalized in Canada. The Toronto Star bestseller was also named the #1-selling non-fiction cannabis book in the country. Her second book with Greystone, covering psychedelics, will be published in Fall 2022. Amanda's byline has appeared in the New York Times, Vice, Leafly, Calgary Herald, and the Georgia Straight (where she received national and regional awards for her work), among others. Her goal is to bridge the perceived gaps between the cultural and medical uses of cannabis and other plant and fungi medicines to provide important context around their personal and collective potential, through a lens informed by several years of profound personal work with them.
