Carolina Tamez was born in Monterrey, Mexico. She has been working in entertainment since graduating with a BA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her experience expands internationally across the medium including live television, late night talk shows, documentary series, music videos, and film. Carolina works to champion content that exemplifies multicultural and diverse storytelling. Her projects as a producer have showcased at international festivals, including Critics' Week at Cannes, Berlinale, Tribeca, FICM, TIFF, Slamdance and FICG -- plus have received the Spike Lee Film Production Fund and the Hollywood Foreign Press Fellows Fund. She acted as creative producer in the film “I'm No Longer Here” which was shortlisted for Best International Feature at the 2021 Oscars. Currently she works as a Development Executive at Vision Entertainment, producing both television and film projects.
