Daniel Cantagallo

Daniel Cantagallo has been working in the film industry for over 15 years, and he is the Vice President of Cargo Film & Releasing. A graduate of Harvard University’s Visual and Environmental Studies program, he went on to obtain his Master’s in Film Production from the London Film School. He produced and co-wrote the award-winning documentary, SHADOWS OF LIBERTY, and at Cargo, he executive produced SATAN & ADAM (Netflix), PLAYING HARD (Netflix), THEY CALL ME DR. MIAMI (Discovery+). Recent distributed titles include the Oscar Shortlisted HIDDEN LETTERS, Emmy-nominated THE CONDUCTOR with Marin Alsop (20+ cinemas; PBS American Masters), SATAN WANTS YOU, which world premiered at SXSW in 2023 and will be a TUBI Original in 2023, and MUTINY IN HEAVEN: The Birthday Party, released theatrically in over 60 cities in North America. He is also responsible for the development of early-stage projects at Cargo.
