Tanaira Cullens
Tanaira Cullens is a current Baltimore City resident and native of Baltimore. She holds a B.S. biology, Magna
Cum Laude, from Morgan State University and a M.S. in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University. Post graduation, Tanaira taught middle school science, was the director of after school programs, the co director of Growing Girls and Gardens summer camp funded by Middle Grades Partnership and part of the education team at Baltimore Ecosystem Study a National Science Foundation funded Long Term Ecological Research Site and project site of the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. Tanaira is currently an environmental scientist at Biohabitats, where she spends time working on wetland delineations, stream and habitat assessment for restoration, permitting, the creation of geospatial imagery using GIS products, community engagement and grant related tasks.
