Todd Petersen
Todd Petersen is a serial entrepreneur with a background in the tech, aviation, and automotive industries. He is passionate about the momentous changes occurring in transportation due to the introduction of shared and autonomous vehicles to cities. He has written several white papers on potential solutions to product liability insurance issues, considerations for administering public spaces including streets, sidewalks, and curbs, and challenges with operating drones and air-taxis in urban airspace.
Todd has started multiple companies and brought several technology products and services to market. Todd was awarded SEMA’s 2013 Innovator of the Year Award by his peers for introducing game-changing technology and products to the automotive aftermarket.
Prior to entrepreneurship, Todd started his career at General Motors as an embedded software engineer where he worked on advanced energy storage and propulsion systems. He is a rated helicopter pilot and a world speed record holder.
