Russell Johnson

Russell Johnson is a veteran of the visual effects industry, having worked on cult favorite genre TV shows like "Babylon 5" and "Xena:Warrior Princess." He later signed on as a writer/editor for the docu-series "The Genesis of Healing" at Brushfire Films before joining the team at AMP Creative. Initially their lead editor, Russell now operates as the boutique agency’s Director of Post Production, helping develop and execute projects for Fortune 500 companies nationwide. He was an early advocate for AMP’s expansion into the world of immersive video, and has developed, directed, and edited several projects in this exciting new medium, including post production duties on the VR for Inclusion experience “Women in Tech,” which launched on the Meta Quest platform in 2020. His XR efforts for the company have now expanded to include augmented reality experiences using 3D animations and the exciting new field of volumetric video capture. He is also author of the hard boiled deep-fake detective novel "Mash-Up", a sci-fi fan, and Vologram enthusiast.
