Ed Hoppitt

Ed Hoppitt sits on VMware's EMEA Technical Leadership team as a senior leader heading up Apps & Cloud Native Platforms. He helps customers ensure that the foundation of the Digital Transformation is built on solid ground. Prior to joining VMware Ed worked for a Global Service Provider and Managed Services company on some of the largest IT contracts at the time - and was a customer of VMware. When not recording a Podcast or onstage presenting at an event, Ed builds 100Kg fighting robots - and is the current reigning World Champion of the hit BBC TV Series 'Robot Wars'. Ed is a regular speaker on the Global Stage as well as well published in the media having presented at everything from Marine Robotics Conferences in Singapore, Keynote speeches for Gartner Events & hosting RobotWars Live
