Over the last decade, the Los Angeles-based producer and Young Art label boss, TOKiMONSTA, has helped define the sound of modern dance and beat music while remaining completely independent. In the process, she has received the co-signs of the biggest names in the electronic sphere without sacrificing the purity of her vision. Her futuristic melodies are a technicolor mandala of hip-hop instrumentalism, pop, R&B-soul, house, and IDM. She's released four studio albums and collaborated with the likes of Channel Tres, Bibi Bourelly, and Anderson .Paak. In 2017, her album "Lune Rouge" received a Grammy nomination for “Best Electronic/Dance Album,” making her the first Asian-American producer to be up for the award, as well as the first woman.
