Ximena Acosta
A native of Colombia, Ms. Acosta is a pioneer in the multicultural marketing space and has extensive knowledge in marketing communications, publicity, branding and media. She is currently an entertainment strategy and communications consultant with decades of experience in the music industry. Her current list of clients includes Gibson Brands, Sony Music Latin, Saban Music Group and Duars Entertainment, an independent label where she spearheads Rauw Alejandro’s communications strategy. Past clients include Natanel Cano, Fuerza Regida, Marca MP, Caifanes, Zoe and others.
Her full time transition into music, which is her biggest passion, began with a very unique story: Oftentimes saying “yes” can create opportunities in unimaginable ways. For Ximena, this affirmative response led her to collaborate in a PR strategy involving Daddy Yankee pumping gas at an East Los Angeles gas station to promote his quickly-iconic hit “Gasolina” in 2004.
