Courtney Duffy

As Patreon’s Head of Creator Policy Engagement, Courtney is the policy team’s main liaison to the creator community. Along with the Head of Policy, she focuses on researching and developing creator-focused policies, reports and workshops, as well as some external-facing public policy initiatives.

Courtney’s career has centered at the nexus of tech, policy, communications, and the arts. She built, for example, the government and policy program for an arts & tech organization called Fractured Atlas, where she engaged artists in federal tech policy discussions on Capitol Hill where artists haven’t always had a seat at the table. During those DC days she indulged her love of singing as an alto in the Congressional Chorus.

Courtney holds masters degrees in public and business administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, as well as an undergraduate degree from Trinity College.
