Brittany McPeak
Brittany is a Sustainability Project Coordinator with the City of Orlando where she oversees the commercial and residential food waste recycling programs and pilots, food waste and food rescue related grants, and food waste prevention efforts while working towards the City’s goal of zero waste to landfill by 2040. She received a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and is TRUE Advisor and LEED Green Associate accredited. Before joining the City of Orlando, she worked in the food and beverage sector of the hotel industry for five years and uses her knowledge to challenge the industry norms of food waste and promote a zero-waste lifestyle.
