Karla Gray Roncal

Karla Gray-Roncal, MS,MD is a neurology resident at Johns Hopkins Medicine and an electrical engineer at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. She uniquely combines the problem solving skills that she acquired as an engineer with her clinical perspective and expertise. During her intern year, Karla was an internal medicine doctor in Brooklyn, NY treating COVID patients during the peak of the pandemic. She recently published a paper in Neurology highlighting differences in Multiple Sclerosis disease progression between White and Black Americans.
