Bryan Salesky is the founder and CEO of Argo AI, a global autonomous vehicle technology company headquartered in Pittsburgh developing self-driving technology for autonomous ride-hail and goods delivery services in partnership with leading automakers Ford and Volkswagen. While at Carnegie Mellon University’s National Robotics Engineering Center, Bryan managed a portfolio of the center’s largest commercial programs, including autonomous mining trucks for Caterpillar. In 2007, Bryan led software engineering for Carnegie Mellon’s winning entry in the DARPA Urban Challenge. In 2011, he joined the Google self-driving car project (now Waymo) to lead hardware development. He co-hosts the No Parking Podcast, dedicated to demystifying and building trust in self-driving cars, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He also serves as the chair of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, an Allegheny Conference affiliate.
