Ashley Obasi

Ashley Obasi is a digital marketer and social enterprise philanthropist. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Ashley's career began in media relations working at Edelman, a global public relations firm, and radio advertising for Chicago's top Hip Hop station Power 92.3 until she pivoted into tech, where she now works as an account manager for Microsoft in the retail/cpg vertical.
Ashley founded Black Girls Graduate in 2013, an online resource cultivating the next generation of millennial leaders by way of campus, career, and finance content, and in-person and virtual events. The viral movement reaches a network of over 60K+ women globally and has garnered the attention of Essence Magazine, The Chicago Defender, and PopSugar to name a few.
