Sherri Turpin is CEO of ZVRS and Purple Communications (ZP), a leading provider of communications solutions, including video relay technology, and interpretation services for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

One of the few hearing CEOs proficient in American Sign Language (she learned ASL after being named ZVRS CEO), Sherri is among the bold social impact leaders in technology today, advocating to advance communications access and equity for the deaf and hard of hearing community, and deeply committed to educating the hearing world and leaders about their own conscious and unconscious biases regarding sign language, communications access and equity, and the deaf and hard of hearing community.

Sherri is committed to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion and “Are You IN? initiatives to accelerate disability inclusion in the workplace. She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for New York School for the Deaf (NYSD) and the Foundation Board for the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID). Under her leadership, ZP was recognized as a 2021 and 2020 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion, earning a score of 100% on the Disability Equality Index (DEI), a joint initiative of the American Association of People with Disabilities and Disability: IN.

Prior to becoming ZVRS CEO, Sherri served as EarthLink's Channel Chief responsible for all aspects of the company’s indirect distribution channel, including full profit and loss, sales and revenue growth, and EBITDA contribution. Previously, Sherri served as Executive in Residence for Kinderhook Industries and with XO Communications in varying leadership roles.

Sherri has been recognized with several honors and awards for her leadership and innovation, including the CRN Women of the Channel/Circle of Excellence award while she was Earthlink Channel Chief. She also has been featured in prominent media including The Hill, Forbes, Thrive, the Austin Business Journal and Medium's Inspirational Women
