Alexis Kashar is a nationally renowned civil rights lawyer and entrepreneur who is also Deaf. She has spent over 30 years advocating for a more accessible world through civil rights, technology and education. Through her advocacy work, she has been instrumental in groundbreaking cases designed to raise standards of accessibility to new heights and in fostering community connections to advance the awareness of the Deaf community including the Super Bowl.

As an entrepreneur, Kashar is the founder of RoseBYANDER, a conscious jewelry company with the mission to showcase the beauty of American Sign Language. She is also the President of the Board for the New York School for the Deaf and works closely with a national civil rights organization for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In her spare time, she is a host on a video cast, "The Sound Off Ladies" with Marlee Matlin and two other friends.
