Andy Horwitz is a producer and executive vice president of Charles Roven’s Atlas Entertainment, a production company which produces tent pole films, independent features, and series.
Horwitz began his 14 years with Atlas working for Charles Roven on The Dark Knight. He later went on to co-produce David O. Russell’s AMERICAN HUSTLE, which was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, won three Golden Globes, three BAFTAs, among numerous critics’ awards.
Most recently, Horwitz served as Producer on J.C. Chandor’s TRIPLE FRONTIER, which was released theatrically by Netflix to record setting numbers, making it Netflix’s fifth most popular original film ever. Before that, Horwitz served as co-producer on David Ayer’s SUICIDE SQUAD, which holds the largest August opening weekend in history, and during the course of production, Horwitz created and spearheaded an immersive VR project which once completed, turned into a multi-million-dollar promotional deal and marketing campaign with Samsung.
