Jo Sharon is co-CEO for Magical Elves (ME), a leading producer of award-winning, nonfiction content for domestic & international TV markets.

Sharon oversees a varied slate of projects in every aspect of development & production. Just named one of Cablefax’s Most Powerful Women, she has produced a multitude of projects during her tenure at ME including the Emmy Award-winning “Top Chef” and its spinoffs, as well as “Nailed It!,”“Sugar Rush” and “Cold Justice.” Sharon has made diversity & inclusion a priority, & ME has committed to ensuring 75% of their total cast & talent on their shows are women &/or POC, & 50% are part of the LGBTQ+ community. ME was just honored by Cynopsis’ Top Women in Media as a Distinguished Company for their work to elevate & support women’s advancement in the workplace.

Sharon is an Advisory Board Member at Hofstra University’s Lawrence Herbert School of Communications, & “Hofstra in LA” where she mentors students pursuing a career in entertainment.
