As a national health care non-profit leader, founder of innovative social justice initiatives, and former CEO of a community-based health center, Dr. Myechia Minter-Jordan has devoted her career to promoting racial justice and making our health system more equitable. Myechia is President and CEO of the CareQuest Institute, an organization that drives change to create a more equitable, accessible, and integrated health system for all. Myechia also has shined a spotlight on racial justice issues, most recently joining 18 other Black and Brown executives as a founder of The New Commonwealth Racial Equity and Social Justice Fund to provide $100M in philanthropic support to community groups fighting systemic racism. Myechia previously served as CEO and as Chief Medical Officer at the Dimock Center in Roxbury, Mass. for 12 years and as an attending physician for Johns Hopkins Medicine. She graduated from Brown University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins University School of Business.
