Phil is a cultural anthropologist and strategist who works with nonprofits, startups, and major brands on issues ranging from product research and design to brand strategy and innovation. His projects have explored how Big Tech can humanize technology as well as mixed-methods research and strategy development for diverse clients in telecom, media, tech, financial services, entertainment, and the public sector. Phil holds an MA and PhD in cultural and applied anthropology from the University of Florida and a BA in semiology from the University of Michigan.
