Roman Coppola is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and also a co-founder of The Decentralized Pictures Foundation, Inc. He has spent his life in the world of filmmaking and has worked professionally in practically all aspects of film. He is the Academy Award nominated co-writer of Moonrise Kingdom and Golden Globe winner for best Comedy/Musical TV series “Mozart In The Jungle.” Roman’s second-unit director work on Bram Stoker’s Dracula garnered him a BAFTA Award nomination for Visual Effects. And he has also established himself as one of the most influential and celebrated music video and commercial directors in the business (his music video for Phoenix’s “Funky Squaredance” was invited into permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art). He is one of the co-writers of Wes Anderson’s highly acclaimed Isle of Dogs. Most recently, he is an Executive Producer of Sofia’ Coppola’s On The Rocks, as well as co-writer of Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch.
