Mitra Jouhari

Mitra is an LA-based comedian, writer, and performer. She’s appeared in Judd Apatow and Kumail Nanjiani’s feature The Big Sick, on Comedy Central’s Broad City, and on HBO Max’s Search Party. She regularly hosts and produces the live show “It’s A Guy Thing” with Catherine Cohen and Patti Harrison. Mitra created and stars in the scripted podcast “F*ck Hut Music School For Teens” (Forever Dog) and co-hosts the podcast “Urgent Care” with comedian Joel Kim Booster (Earwolf). Mitra was previously the digital producer on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS, and her writing credits include The President Show at Comedy Central, Miracle Workers on TBS, High Maintenance on HBO, Pod Save America on HBO, and Big Mouth on Netflix. Recently, Mitra was a Producer on Netflix’s upcoming series Human Resources. Mitra co-created and stars in the quarter-hour series Three Busy Debras which is produced by Amy Poehler for Adult Swim. Season 2 of Three Busy Debras premieres in Spring 2022.
