Disinformation is now a specialized tool to undermine faith in our elections and our democracy. Over the past four years, we’ve seen an exponential growth in its spread and the effects from 2020 are still reverberating as we prepare for the 2022 election cycle, including increased security threats directed toward election administrators. In this panel, you’ll hear directly from tech and election experts on how to identify disinformation, ways to hold bad actors accountable to prevent spread, and how elections officials are working to combat disinformation on the ground in the states to protect democracy. Learn about what's at stake, how the rules have changed, and how we fight back against conspiracy theories and threats of violence.
