How Musicians Can Take Control of Their Technology

Come join us to learn how musicians can take control of their technology by building their own online business and connecting directly with fans and other professional musicians. Over the last decade, artists have built fanbases online through social media platforms and streaming services which often helps these platforms far more than it helps the creators. The unfortunate reality is that all of these platforms were built for consumers / fans - not musicians - which makes it difficult for artists to truly build their own business and connect directly with their fans.

This session showcases several of the more popular platforms that make the communication process for musicians more intuitive, more efficient and much more cost-effective. Technology can and should be part of the DIY process that up-and-coming musicians typically embrace, as opposed to a service that someone else directs. Learn more about taking control by attending this information-filled panel.
